Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SalonSquad collects, how we use it, and the choices you and your clients have.

1. Who we are

SalonSquad provides AI assistants for salons. For information about salon owners, we are the controller. For information about a salon’s clients, we process it on the salon’s behalf.

2. What we collect

• Account information: name, email, salon details.
• Connected data: bookings, clients and payments from Square; messages from connected channels; reviews from Google.
• Calls: recordings and transcripts when phone answering is on, after callers are notified.
• Usage information about how the app is used.

3. How we use it

To provide the service: answering messages and calls, booking, content, reviews, recaps and support. We do not sell personal information and do not use a salon’s data to train AI models for other salons.

4. Sharing

With the service providers that make SalonSquad work (for example hosting, messaging, voice and payment partners), with connected platforms at your direction, and with other salons only through Circle referrals a client has agreed to.

5. Your choices

Export or delete your data anytime. Clients can ask a salon to access or delete their information, and can reply STOP to messages. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.

6. Retention

Call recordings are kept 30 days by default. When you cancel, data is kept 30 days so you can return, then deleted.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and connections use each provider’s own sign-in.
