Honest by design.
An assistant that talks to your clients has to be trustworthy. These are the rules SalonSquad is built on, and how we keep them.
AI disclosure
Clients always know they’re talking to an assistant.
- Every assistant introduces itself as your assistant the first time it talks to someone, on every channel.
- Phone calls start with “this is Nia, Tasha’s assistant,” and the line can’t be removed.
- Some states, including California, require bots to disclose themselves. We do it everywhere.
Verified results
If we can’t prove it, we don’t claim it.
- Revenue and bookings are only counted when we find them in your Square account.
- Every counted booking is listed with its Square ID, and you can remove any of them.
- Reach and views are labeled “estimated.” Revenue never is.
Consent
Nothing about a client is shared without her yes.
- Photos are posted only after the client agrees, with a no-face option.
- Circle referrals share only what the client agrees to, and only with the salon she’s sent to.
- Call recordings are announced first. Florida and other all-party states require it.
- Marketing texts follow opt-in rules; every client can reply STOP.
Your data
Yours to keep, export or delete.
- We never sell your data or your clients’ data.
- We never use your data to train AI models for other salons.
- Export everything anytime. Delete a single client’s data when she asks (for example, under CCPA).
- If you cancel, we keep your data 30 days in case you return, then delete it.
Platform rules
We follow every platform’s rules, so your accounts stay safe.
- Instagram and Facebook messages are answered within Meta’s 24-hour messaging window.
- WhatsApp messages outside the window use approved templates only.
- Business texts are sent from a registered number (A2P 10DLC).
- Google reviews are never incentivized, and hard reviews are never auto-posted.
Security
Built with the basics done properly.
- Every connection uses that company’s own sign-in (OAuth). We never see your passwords.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Team roles limit who sees money and client details.
