Setting up call forwarding on any carrier

Keep your number and send only the calls you miss to your assistant.

Conditional call forwarding sends calls you don’t answer (or can’t, because you’re busy) to another number, like your SalonSquad assistant. Your number stays the same, and calls you pick up ring as normal.

The usual codes

  • Verizon: dial *71 followed by the forwarding number to forward when busy or unanswered. Dial *73 to turn it off.
  • AT&T and T-Mobile: dial **61* + number + # for no answer, **67* + number + # for busy, and **62* + number + # for unreachable. ##004# turns conditional forwarding off.
  • Business and VoIP lines: look for “forward on no answer” in your provider’s settings.
Codes vary by carrier and plan. SalonSquad shows the exact code for your carrier during setup, and we’ll do it with you on your setup call.

How many rings?

Many carriers let you choose how long to ring before forwarding. Four rings is a good balance: enough time to grab the phone, not so long that callers hang up.

Let the squad do it for you.
